PROJECTS

  • Cashzone, the ATM arm of the Payzone group, requested a strategic review of its operations to decide on its future operating model and provide efficiencies and bottom-line savings. This led us to identify the optimum Target Operating Model, re-design key operating processes, implement a new supply governance structure for ATMs and the renegotiation of new SLAs with major suppliers. After supporting senior management in a strategy for expanding the business through acquisition we were asked to supply an Interim Operations Director for 12 months.
  • As a long-term client with Senior Programme Managers in place over a 6 year period, we worked on various projects and programmes including delivering compliant PSD2/Open Banking integrations solutions for UK credit card customers; leading a large strategic programme to design an online bank, working with BoI teams in London, Munich and Dublin; designing and mobilising a programme to deliver a large compliance programme across the UK and Group; managing the implementation of a new savings product for the UK, liaising with the financial product team, the IT department, compliance, risk and procurement teams.
  • We led a team charged with the creation and continuing enhancement and development of a complex financial model to inform the business case and support bidder evaluation. Working in parallel with the government authority, business requirements team and the systems architecture team, we built and informed the business case for GIB approval which became the baseline to evaluate bidder’s responses.
  • Part of the senior management team responsible for all IT aspects of the successful integration of the Alliance and Leicester Merchant Services into the EuroConex business portfolio using Prince 2 framework. Led a team of project managers, business analysts, developers and SMEs to identify gaps, create requirements, develop and successfully implement projects to support the new acquisition. Ensured the Stratus Front End and MBS / Vision Mainframe had the functionality and capacity to process a 500% increase in processing volume. Realised three business critical projects: Integration project, Chip and PIN role out, twice yearly regulatory releases.
  • Supporting the senior management team, we programme managed the team of project managers, business analysts and developers who were responsible for all aspects of IT and the successful integration of the Alliance and Leicester Merchant Services into the EuroConex business portfolio using Prince 2 framework.
  • Citibank Corp requested the development of a work flow tool (Actionworks Metro application) for two projects to help manage customer issues and to manage and track the opening of new customer accounts (an increase of new accounts opened per week from 500 to 2000).
  • Elavon, global merchant acquirer and subsidiary of U.S. Bank has agreed to acquire Sage Pay, a well- known and established payments gateway business in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Sage Pay is a division of The Sage Group plc, a FTSE-listed market leader in cloud business management solutions. The acquisition is part of Elavon’s strategy to help its business customers grow as the global economy becomes more digital, and as businesses look to streamline their operations with software that includes payments capabilities.
